Tanker operator J. T. Essberger has signed up for a pilot with VesselMan’s cloud-based remote support platform. The system will be installed on the Ursula Essberger during its upcoming dry-docking.
The management platform enables the user to easily manage its assets, create projects, use project templates, build specifications, send out quotations and compare the tenders and select yard/supplier. When the repair period arrives, the user can track all changes related to work scope, costs, progress and time, both online or offline, in our mobile app or in the web browser.
Bernd Schlarmann, fleet manager at J. T. Essberger says that they are looking forward to starting using VesselMan. “We will benchmark VesselMan to our existing system, and I truly believe that we will see a lot of useful features and positive outcomes of this pilot project. We are also very excited to test the integration of VesselMan and Ulysses Systems which was launched earlier this year. We have been using Ulysses Systems as our PMS for more than 15 years, and this will enable a smooth and seamless integration between our PMS and VesselMan as our dry-docking tool.”
